TMPDE is a products which takes two propylene allyls and one
hydroxide group as the active group. It is colorless liquid.
TMPDE is mainly aplied unsauturated ester to make wooden
material paint. In the other paint application range, TMPDE is
the important raw material of alkyd which can be used as air
drying.
TMPDE can decrease the restraining effect of oxygen, so it can
increase the reaction speed and the surface hardness without
accelerating the yellow change.
TMPDE is a mixture of trimethylolpropane allyl ether. The major component is trimethylolpropane dially ether.
Unsaturated polyester(PE) resins can get air drying ability without wax by adding TMPDE.

Applications
1.Unsaturated Polyester Resin(PE):
Air-drying unsatured polyester(PE) resin can be obtained by introduced TMPDE which, in
turn, doesn't need wax anymore.
2. Alkyd Resin:
By adding TMPDE into Alkyd Resin, the water resistance, drying property and color of it
can be greatly improved.
3. Water-based Resin:
In water, TMPDE can dissolve or disperse alkyd and polyester resins. Thus it can improve
their drying property.
4. Others:
TMPDE can be applied to many other fields, such as, UV curable acrylate, polyurethane and
epoxy as well as polyacrylate thickener.
